We’ve grown a few new desks at Tank and we need some people to occupy them. First on the shopping list is a spookily good account manager. We already have several, but we’ve decided to swell their ranks further.
Account managers this good are a very rare breed.
They are sustained only by the delight registered on clients’ faces. They don’t bat an eyelid as they manage the hustle and bustle of the agency press office-like environment. They’re only really happy when doing three things at once and they specialise in gelling teams together in the pursuit of a common goal, like the born communicators they are. To cap it off, they write like a dream, get digital and they’re stuffed with great ideas that actually work.
An ideal account manager for us would have at least three years agency experience, with one of those in a management role. Crucially, they would be able to show strong evidence of delighting clients on a regular basis.
