Lord Byron expert Geoffrey Bond OBE approached us to help him launch his book devoted to the poet’s love of dogs, ‘Lord Byron’s Best Friends’.
We set about gaining coverage in the national, local and literary media for the book, and social media channels were set up to further raise its profile. We also helped organise successful VIP book launches at the Garrick Club in London and at Newstead Abbey in the poet’s home county of Nottinghamshire.
We weren’t the only ones surprised that Byron loved dogs as much as women and poetry, so coverage was in plentiful supply nationally and literally. The book was reviewed favourably in the Sunday Times, The Times Literary Review, The Guardian and Country Life to name a but a few, all helping to achieve global book sales.
