Our city, a place for cars?

October 1, 2019 |

As we head to Berlin for the first European Micromobility Industries conference, we wanted to wise up and get an understanding of how micromobility could work for our city.

Tank lives in Nottingham, a city renowned for its investment in public transport infrastructure. However, as our city continues to grow, it got us thinking whether provisions for automobility are sustainable.

This led us to explore the potential for micromobility in our city, and whether it is something that could work as an alternative option for travel.

To find out, we turned to our own to understand the perceptions of micromobility and ask them whether they would be interested in switching their usual mode of transport. (Just over 54% did!)

With the help of Nottingham City Council, we gave the team access to a small fleet of ebikes, so they could find out first hand whether it was an option for them.
