Tank PR Checks in with Heritage Estates

December 1, 2015 |

We’re pleased to announce that Tank PR has been appointed to promote the expanding portfolio of independent hotel group Heritage Estates.

Our Nottingham-based public relations agency has been tasked with creating a campaign to highlight the group’s existing offering at the luxury Kelham House Country Manor Hotel near Newark-on-Trent in Nottinghamshire. As part of the retained account, there will be a particular focus on boosting the venue’s dining, wedding and conferencing trade.

In addition, the Tank PR account team will also be focusing on Heritage Estates’ recent acquisition of Cockliffe Country House Hotel in Burntstump Country Park in Nottinghamshire. Purchased in a deal worth around £1m, the 11-bedroom 17th century former farmhouse will undergo a £1m transformation over the next year, with Tank PR promoting the venue’s journey.

“This year presents a huge opportunity for everyone in the hospitality industry,” commented Jon-Paul Davies, director at Heritage Estates. “Businesses are starting to perform more positively, meaning budgets for conferences and away-days have increased, whilst consumers have more disposable income, resulting in a surge of weddings, nights away and meals out.

“However, competition remains fierce and, as we continue to grow, we knew that we needed support when it comes to shouting about the high-end offering that we have.

“Tank PR was the logical choice. The team has a great deal of knowledge when it comes to leisure and hospitality and they know how to achieve coverage that will ultimately drive sales for us. It’s been an impressive start and we’re already seeing the benefits.”

Formed in 2009, we’re now celebrating our fifth year in business. At the end of 2014, it we were named as one of the top performing agencies in the Midlands as part of the Outstanding Consultancy category at the CIPR Awards.

Our client portfolio includes Nottingham’s premier leisure venue The Cornerhouse, housebuilder Miller Homes, leading free debt solution provider PayPlan and Pall-Ex, the freight network owned by renowned entrepreneur Hilary Devey.
