Digital PR agency Tank has appointed Victoria McNaughton as client development director, as part of the company’s ambitious growth strategy.
Based in Nottingham’s Lace Market, Tank provides PR, digital and social media services to a variety of high-profile brands across the UK, Europe and North America.
Victoria joins Tank having relocated from Manchester, bringing over 10 years’ experience working both client and agency-side for a wealth of household name brands including O2 and Playstation.
As well as supporting existing Tank clients with commercial development strategy, Victoria will lead new business development for Tank, which last year invested £1million into its new Lace Market office. This year, Tank landed contracts with Silicon Valley robotics company, Bossa Nova and the personal charity of one of the most famous TV stars in the world.
“To date, Tank has become one of the Midlands’ most successful digital PR agencies, largely as a result of great work and by developing its impressive network,” explains Victoria.
“I want to deliver more value to the existing client base and help the agency to expand into its target vertical sectors in the UK and overseas. I spoke to a number of agencies before meeting Tank, but nothing really compared with the unique culture that jumps out at you as you walk through the front door here. Tank reminds me of some of the more dynamic agencies in Manchester that I dealt with, doing things very much their own way – it feels like home!”
Trevor Palmer, director and founder of Tank, said:
“A year ago, we decided as a team that to realise our collective ambitions, the business needed to grow significantly. Victoria shares our values and is the right person to help us do this – largely by adding value to enable existing clients, and those that don’t know us yet, to achieve even more with us.”
In the PR Week Global Agency Business Report 2019, Tank ranked 167th in the UK and 330th in the World.
